Just bought a '97 Audi A4 1.9 tdi. Any general advise on some mild tuning?. It seems in good health, and has a full service history, although it has done 113,000 miles] Like everyone else, I'd like a bit more power, without sacrificing too much economy. It is an auto, and I'll be towing with it, so low/mid range torque improvement would be nice. All advise greatfully received!

Bigger Injector Nozzles.
I used these ones:

there are cheaper ones out there, but I think you get what you pay for. You can feel a big difference in the seat of your pants. Fuel economy is the same if you can keep your foot off it.
You could just get a chip tune or get one in combo with the injectors. Not sure who does that over the pond.
