Title: Fuel Shutoff Solenoid question

Umm... Just ordered a new one. Should the "plunger" part that has a spring in it come out w/ the spring?

My head is telling me it should move back and forth due to spring/magnetic influence, but not come out entirely.

Does it anyway?

Yes, the plunger and spring come out. No worries. 8)  :)
