Saw this in a thread on the Vortex (http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3770331).... The saddest thing I have ever seen done to a VW Diesel..
Leather Engine Bay??? in the ugliest VW I've ever seen....
Looks to be an EcoDiesel in that leather lined engine bay..Poor Thing...

I'd say it's never been started..... Otherwise there would be a few black sooty oil spots on that leather.

at first i thought this was supposed to look like some old ww2 truck but then i realised its leather!  i bet the engine likes being dressed in int :p

I can appreciate the engine bling and the uber clean bay, but that front end is just plain fugly...

I'd like to see it with the hood closed before I make a decision on the front end. I'd never guess it was a mk2 though
