Post by: mansvw on April 03, 2008, 02:55:17 pm
Hi Guys,

i was thinking about buying a 150Bhp PD Gti engine,,, but it doesn't come with clocks, key nor ecu....

can this engine be started in the same way a AAZ engines or do i require all the missing components above?

cheers

there's guy's running the lowest amount of electronics on the pd's with great success.  if you have access to what you need then i'd say go for it.  you will be much happier with it than an AAZ.  but if you can't find the extra bits to make it work then forget it.  they could be quite expensive depending on where you look.
