Title: Electircal problem with me 95 passat wagon TD
Post by: vwvanguy on March 25, 2008, 05:58:33 pm
I have been having problems with my rear signals and brake lights on my passat.  When I have the signal lights on and hit the brakes the signals cut out ant then when I let my foot off the brakes they comeback on.  The Rear wiper aslo cuts out intermittantly.  Ijust bought the car and am wondering if any of you have run into somthing similar. Thanks.

do continuity checks between the fuse panel to the light itself...

check for grounds crossing the brake and signal wireing

do you have brake lights switch wiring on the trans?
edit no: beause its not a mk1
