I'm looking to purchase a TDI Volkswagen (any model) for under $6000. I have been able to find plenty of real cheap (under $1500) pre-1984 ones, but want one that is at least a 1987. Also I can find plenty of newer ones in the $10,000 and up range. Perferably, I want a car that isn't too far from me (Eugene, Oregon).
