I was wondering if there is a metal head gasket for a N/A 1.5L engine?
Which cars/model/year would it come on?

just say no if there isnt one....
geezzz

So far as I have been able to tell... there isn't one. You'd probably be able to get the 1.9 metal headgasket to work, with the same mods that you'd need to fit it to a 1.6 mechanical head engine, but I've never tried it.

One of the things I really like about the fine folks on this forum is that they don't inject with their opinions if they can't commit to the accuracy of what they are saying.
So if you don't get an answer to your question it's very likely that no one knows the answer definitively enough, as opposed to you being ignored. In this case, very few of us are running 1.5l engines anymore so I'm not surprised your question went unanswered.
For a great example of what life is like when everyone chimes in with any old thought, regardless of whether they can attest to its accuracy or not... visit any Vortex forum

Personally, I've never done it. But, I happened to have a 1.9 metal HG laying around, as well as a 1.5 11mm head kicking around too. The only problem I'd forsee is the oil return tube, which is missing on the 1.5. Basically, you'd hit the same snag if you were to use any hydraulic head gasket.
If it were me, and I had a few spare bucks, I'd weld some material onto the head right there, and then mill it.

Note: On this 1.5 head, some meathead bored out the main oil return line to mate up to a 1.6 head. I know that Jack at VWdiesel.net had a coupler that you can simply slip in there to do the same task.
As for welding and milling the head, it seems like zukgod1 did just that (not to the outside of the head, but filled a few holes, and drilled out the extra coolant holes that the 1.9 has. I think he had to weld his block too. He might have some insights. He has it shown in a link within this thread:

If you do go this route, let us know how it turns out. You could be a pioneer.
Good luck

I have some pictures posted in my build thread, I used the AAZ head gasket on my 1.6 project.
I even used a Solid lifter block combined with a hydraulic head.
