did the bottom end of of my car a couple years ago ( 1990 jetta , 1.6 turbo ) , no oil pumps available at all for my engine at the time , so the parts guy brought 2 oil pumps in for me , one was out of a early '80's rabbit , the other hand a pump body about 1/3 longer , and fit perfectly .
i misplaced the part number .
it suposedly isn't a tdi pump , as the tdi pump is suposed to have a gear on the end of it , mine has a flat that goes into the vacume pump .
is it possibly out of 1.9 idi ?
i'm going to need one for my brothers engine in the next few months , so i thought i'd start looking now .
thanks guys :)
