I know this has been covered in the archives, but I wanted to see if anyone had an update on where to get the injection pump timing tools (the dial indicator /stem / extension) and the costs.
I have the cam tool and the pump lock pin from a friend.
I read an earlier post from last year mentioning Skyway tools (Jake?) and some model numbers, but I didn't see a definite answer on which model to order.
There are two sets on ebay right now as well. I'm a little hesitant to go that route because one listing doesn't say for sure it'll work in the earlier pumps.
Any recommendations? I'm trying to find / borrow the tools locally to get my engine running, but I figure I'll probably just buy them.
Thanks in advance.

hmmm, Ohio, too far away for me to lend you mine. You can buy the whole set from vwdieselparts.com

the cam lock plate seems a bit steep, but then I just use a flat plate or file
the other tools are pretty well priced
