I can help with the pan, what model? mk1 or mk2? they are different

I think he needs to know what chassis it's going into.  (i.e. Rabbit or Golf/Jetta)

Kinda related, is there a difference between a longitudinal turbo oil pan and a transverse turbo pan?

yes quantum td is different
