Ok, I went out today to find if my main bearing with the extra hole was in the wrong spot or not, but none of them have the extra hole mentioned here (http://vwdiesel.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=12701). Even my old set had no extra hole. I don't want to pull the crank to check because then I'll have to buy new rod bolts. Does anyone have an AAZ that is apart and could check for me to see if that extra hole is even on an AAZ block?
