Title: Valve shim pliers
Post by: saurkraut on February 18, 2008, 07:34:15 am
FYI  for you mechanical head types

Looks like these puppies are on close out special:

http://www.zdmak.com/wbstore/main.asp?ACTION=prod&TYPE=&CAT=&SUB=&prod=&Search=valve%20shim&PG=2&LowCt=8

I checked Samstag Sales and they wanted $7 more.  Assenmacher and TT don't carry them anymore.

hehehe... you said assenmacher!  :D

handy tool to have. A quick, well-aimed jet from a shop air nozzle works well too.

I just used those exact plyers bought from ZDMak last weekend at the local j-yard, they work well, however I did have to tighten the "teeth" on the plyers 2 times.
