ok, i am ordering studs for my 1.6 td, i know there are 2 diff sizes, how do i know what size i need so i can order the right ones? the only thing it shows on here is for the ford cosworth, which is what size?
my motor is a 85 1.6 TD solid lifter head.

those are 12mm and the right size for you.

Note - be sure to snoop around and read threads here on head stud torque.. it's debated that the documentation included with them isn't considered appropriate for our cars.. I think i read the other day that someone is running high boost and torqued them to 100lb ft
I think I recall reading about someone lifting the head running the manufacturer specified torque on studs.

that extra 1/4 turn probably isn't doing the studs any good.. or the threads in the block!
