Title: oil feed lines

Im sorry ,but ive tried to search and found no definite answer.has anyone else had trouble fabbing oil feed lines?I purchased a stainless braided line from ebay specifically for the t3,and it doesnt fit.The vw oil feed fitting is 12mm x 1.5,but the strange thing is that the filter flanged end threaded into the factory tap for the sender.So one end is metric?bottom line i bought a (t3) specific line and it isnt right.any wisdom would be appreciated.

Ok i even googled it.Nothing thats specific enough.I need to come off of a 12mm x 1.5 to a 3an or 4an ,then to 1/4npt?
