Title: Urethane Bushings

Is it a bad idea to use the urethane rack bushings on a diesel MK1? I am collecting parts to redo my suspension and am concerned about the urethane transmitting a lot more vibrations into the steering column. Does anyone have any experience using the urethane instead of rubber?
