What effect would they have on a 86 Golf? Raise, lower?

If your trying to put these onto a mk1 there going to be way Baha style
I bought them under the impression that they would go onto a rabbit

I beleave the rates above.. they fit like a charm on my 90 jetta flair

they would lower your ride just about a inch i think? and a little stiffer!
