I was changing axles on my Jetta today and had a better look at the turbo from underneath. The whole bottomside is covered in oil. Is it necessarily rebuild time? Is there a gasket of any kind I should be checking? Nothing seems to be leaking from the oil line going to the turbo. I would like to haul it out and rebuild it, but just don't have the time for that. I was thinking of getting a new turbo to change it out with.
Would my used T3 be worth any significant amount of money?
