Honestly i'm not sure and it isn't for right just yet as it's still in the truck. give me an offer and when i have it out we can maybe figure something.Thanks

Caveman, Dave has some pretty serious skills for modding our engines.  You may want to consider checking out his stuff in the vender section.  I know he has the ability to fabricate some items that will greatly benefit any engine you choose to go with. Down pipe, porting, ceramic coating etc..
Value is value in many forms.  Just a suggestion.

All I am really interested in is the bottom end and/or longblock. I don't need anything else. Do you have a ballpark price in mind and when do you think you will be removing the engine?

i am really only putting out feelers, and it turns out a couple of people have convinced me that it's such a robust unit i should probably keep it. however if you reaaly want it how much would you offer? i can get TDI longblocks cheap enough to almost make the changeover worth it, just not just for the sake of it.
