Title: td intercooler
Post by: rabbit gti guy on December 18, 2007, 07:17:09 am
so i have an intercooler for my rabbit...is there a way i can use the stock manifold?   ive been looking at it and it seems really tight fit...if even possible..im running 2" piping...is this possible without modding the intake manifold?   i was thinking of flipping the flange around...or making a custom fitting to turn it a bit...but maybe i should just go with a modded gasser intake manifold?

any thoughts...?
thanks

yeah you definitely have to flip the nozzle around and then it should be easy, dont put the gasser manifold on

why do people not like the gasser manifold swap?

What's involved in flipping the turbo?

id like to run a gas manifold if i ever go with an aftermarket turbo, but if i go with an aftermarket turbo it will be on a 1.9 head which doesn't work with the gas intake
