Title: What Psi do I need from top of oil filter?
Post by: mtnbob on December 14, 2007, 12:14:45 am
Bentley book says minimum 2.0 bar at 2000 rpm and at 80 degrees C. Ummmm 2.0 bar?? My gauge is in Psi. Anyone know what I'm looking for in Psi? What is normal, what is too low?

2 bar = ~29 psi.

For a simple conversion program :

I haven't bothered to confirm the level of accuracy, but on the other hand I've been using it for years and never had it proved wrong either.
