Title: vane vaccum, or diaphram?
Post by: somolovitch3 on December 08, 2007, 12:45:14 pm
So do we go with the stuck-up vaine...(where does the exhaust go?) type?

Or get prepaired witha diaphram (I know how that one ends up!)?

Cons and pros anyone?

tia once again!

Have '81 NA block that I am putting back together.

Have both vane and diaphram type vaccum pumps, both are driven by the intermidate shaft and then drive the oil pump.

Question is which type is "better"?

Less drag with more vaccum, anyone?
