you don't really need them to operate, but vw upped the breaking pressure from 130 bar to 155 bar to "ensure safe fuel atomization"

This is Dillenger1's pump number VE-4/10F2075R67. He's getting this for Christmas. Nothing says Merry Christmas like a Bosch VE pump.
It was in an XD2S 2.3L turbo diesel that was in a 1978-1986 Peugot 505. It made 80 H.P./ 59kw. It had a Garret TA0302 on the production engine.

Your right!U couldnt of said it better.Merry Christmas to me!Its what i wouldve got myself if i had the $$$So the na nozzles will actually keep it cooler, correct? Will using na nozzles effect my fueling?I mean do they have a lower ceiling power wise?

what engine was that? When you say offset, you mean the position of the gear?I havent really looked into it,but would it be possible to swap the shaft and gear assembly from another pump, meant for the engine?

Pump photos. Hey.. He wasn't supposed to see these before Christmas morning.
If housing length is an issue then we just transfer the LDA and maybe the fueling plunger if it's bigger than the stock one.

Maybe it's easy to make the bracket into a two hole bracket.
Or we can possibly swap stuff over to the VW housing. Any suggestions on what should be moved over to the 1.6L pump besides the LDA?

Use the VW check valves?

As far as this goes, it is mandatory to turn up the pressures / switch to the turbo injectors for PROPER operation. That's not to "ensure safe fuel atomization" at all, it is to prevent SECONDARY injection. By cranking up the pressure, these injectors open when they're supposed to and close when they're supposed to, preventing unintended injection and making your machine actually work like it's supposed to.
It will run with NA injectors, but not ideally at all. (That info is from Giles more than me. )
