Title: Feeler: What are new AAZ crank and rods worth?

Just curious what a new AAZ crank with the TDI-style front nose and connecting rods are worth.  I'm considering upgrading the crank and rods in my new engine.  Another thing, why are the connecting rod caps so friggin' huge?  Thanks.
