Title: rain tray cold air intake
Post by: diffdude on March 17, 2005, 12:23:30 pm
Has any one run an air filter in the rain tray for cold air intake?
If so how does it work?
here's a truck on ebay with one.

The point were the windshield meets the hood is an area where high pressure air is created and directing it to the intake makes use of a sort of 'ram-air' effect. I recall seeing something similar in the late `60s on a Trans Am Z28 with the 8bl dual carb set-up.
