Title: better valve cover gasket for 1.9 NA
Post by: jackbombay on November 29, 2007, 11:26:15 am
I've read here of a rubber/silicone valve cover gasket for the 1.6 I think it was, the 1.9 *looks* to have the same gasket as the 1.6, if so does anyone know where I could buy one of these better gaskets?

Is the 1.9 NA the same as the AAZ? The AAZ uses a rubber gasket

Unless my eyes deceive me, that's a 1.6l gasket... it has holes for the studs, and the studs themselves.

The 1.9 gasket has no studs and is rubber and reusable to begin with... at least on all the ones I've seen ????

That is the rubber gasket kit used on mk3 2.0s and the MK3 1.8s. It will not work on the 1.9 AAZ but will work on a 1.6

I just ordered one for my diesel but not from ebay
