Title: cooling issue
Post by: fillmore on November 21, 2007, 02:43:39 pm
having another problem with my AAZ 1.9td, i started the car up today and my temp light was flashing, i checked the coolent level as well as the sensors, everything appeared to be fine. i let the engine idle for a couple minutes and noticed that all the coolent hoses were getting warm except for the head to rad and the waterpump to rad, after a quick spin in the car i came back and now the upper rad hose had warm coolent in it but the lower hose was still ice cold (but not filled with ice  ) could this be a bad thermostat? it is located in the waterpump right?

thanks in advance

no car does not overheat, the temp gauge does not move
