Title: Giles, Dr. Diesel, HELP ME!!!!!!

First off, sorry to Marc and others if this is the wrong place for this...

I donno if Giles would be able to help me, but I have a new TDI pump with an upgraded 12mm head installed.  I tried to install it into my car a few weekends ago, but it won't run.  The engine would crank for a long time, catch for a split second, and then die again.  I have a hunch (and hope this is all) that either the injection quantity adjustment or timing is out of whack.

I don't know what tests can be done on a bench, but I would be willing to come up to wherever you are (Markham?) to drop off the pump for you to take a look at it (I'm in Oakville).

No problem Dave.. If the head is in trouble, i have an other one that i can send to you.. Btw,did you get the cam ?

may be check the timing between the head and the drive shaft.
or make a 180° timing adjust on your pump to see if trouble is coming about this.

Marc, yes, I got the notification from Canada Post to pick it up.  I will do so on my way home today! :)
