Title: Thinking about modding the pump
Post by: phredde on March 13, 2005, 12:07:27 pm
My daily driven golf with 1.6 gtd engine which I have intercooled and fitted with bigger downpipe works very well but now I'm thinking of giving it some more fuel so I can up the boost for more power...  But what is there to be done exactly? Bigger plunger? Camplate? Bigger injectors? I need to know exactly what parts I need for the pump to make it produce the most fuel possible so I can go to the pump guy with the pump and tell him what to do! :) All that was done with the pump for more fuel when he rebuilt it for me was installing a thinner washer under the diaphragm.
