Title: Immobiliser question - '94 Audi 80
Post by: MikkiJayne on October 17, 2007, 04:43:17 pm
Hi everyone,

Can anyone confirm one way or the other whether a '94 Audi 80 TDI has an engine immobiliser or not please? I don't know the engine code but I think it has to be a 1Z.

Thanks,

Michaela

uk model hasn't got a chipped key but the central locking has got a immobiliser if you disconnect the central locking pump in the boot it will not start but it is straight forward to get around by joining two wires.i have one for a transplant.
