Title: Oil Filter Question

Anyone use a bypass filter such as an Amsoil unit?  Apparently they can remove soot from the oil.  I've read that after filtration the oil is cleaner than new.  I have no experience with these units, but am interested in trying one when I upgrade my NA to a TD.
