I got a MK3 diesel cluster with a tach for sale, it's in great condition and the green lighting works. It's from a 97 Jetta, it has the airbag indicator and works with the AAZ engine (verified using the part number in ETKA). I have no idea about mileage and if it even works (I can't test it in my MK2  ) but these things aren't know for crapping out. The car it's out from snapped the timing belt.
SOLD SOLD SOLD

Talk to Vince, he will probably buy it

Thanks for the referral Tyler... as it happens I just scored one this morning... when it rains it pours !!! BSD that's a very fair price.
This MK3 dash stuff is taking a bit of getting used to for an MK2 guy like me... much fewer locations to stick all my gauges, lights, and switches. The good news is that there are lots of lights on the cluster itself I can re-purpose, and they still make A-pillar pods for the MK3 !!

Well I just sold the thing, didn't take long :D
Hey vince, that's one reason I don't really like the MK3 dash, the MK2 one has a bunch of blank switches and an easely modded center console.

Yup.... totally agree... I sit in my MK2 with all the extra gauges and switches and there's still room for more. In my MK3... how the hell am I going add even the normal gauges let alone my favorite switches etc...
Ah well... I *do* like the AAZ engine, and the factory cruise, and the power doors, and especially the lack of rust...

You should do a MK2 dash swap in your MK3... boy that would be weird
