Title: What air compressor?

Lost the WP AC belt on my '80 rabbit today.  I just replaced it last week, no reason for it to come off..?  

Autoparts retailers list two different air compressors.  How can I tell which one I have?  One lists a belt that is 1/2 inch longer in circumference than the other.  Should V belts fit a little loose or should they be pretty snug?

:roll: that would be snug-gling for the V-belt to love its groove. :twisted:
