Title: power steering?

i have a 1986 jetta td which only has a belt for the water pump and alternator. the problem is i have power steering in the car that has the diesel engine now in it, just wondering if theres a aftermarket braket or something i could migrate to make the pump work

there is another pulley on the end of the crank for the power steering pump.  your TD motor didn't come with a power steering bracket? hmmm...

no my td is a 86 and the shell it,s in now is a 90 1.8

my '86 TD didn't have powersteering either... i liked that beast a lot... :(

i have all the necessary brackets for power steering (and the pump, but i think the pump is shot because the fluid was black...) and even the hoses.  all at a buddy's shop though...
