Title: cooling fan activation
Post by: rancho*ryda on September 26, 2007, 11:36:44 pm
hey i just did a engine swap from gas to diesel in a jetta and was just wondering how i would go about getting the cooling fan to turn on when the car hits a certin degree. the thermostats where differnt on each engine so i got rid of the wire. just wondering where i could run a wire from the new thermostat so it would make the fan go on at a hotter temperature like the car should do normally?

get a diesel thermo-switch and install it into the rad, then hook up the little harness, and it should work fine.
