Title: PD engine into golf mk3??? any info

I want to put PD engine into golf mk3 shell. What about gearbox? maybe someone can give info what can fit, what driveshafts to use, etc. I was thinking about golf mk4 gearbox? will it fit?

As i know, simple gearbox from 81kw golf3 tdi engine wont mount onto PD engine. Please help me at htis point. Thanks

Check the TDIclub "conversions" page, there is a full build thread there (w/ 6-speed trans).

he posts here I believe too. Its a very nice build described in pretty nice detail as well.
