Cheap if it's as solid as it looks (and it should be in ca!) Had one the same colour for a few years, sunroof two door with a 1.7 gas, great car.
Too bad it's so far away...............
-
if you're in the market for a car like that it would certainly be worth the trip IMO. looks nice. good price if it is as described.
-
Called him. Sounds like it's in good shape, but has a hell of a lot miles on it. Odometer reads 280k but he says it doesn't work and probably has another 100k miles or more on it, w/ no known rebuilds.
But supposedly rust free and in good shape.
-
every bit worth it. I sold my rustedout non running Jetta TD last year for $500. Had a waiting list of buyers. It's going to have a very nice brown interior too boot.
-
I'm amazed that it would still be available. I think so long as it runs it's probably worth more than twice that.
-
The two door I had that was that colour had a black interior.........

i'd love a car like that,
but you know cali, anti-diesel pro-hybrid

I am surprised it lasted that long.....
Is anyone on the list the new owner??

Just got back from S. CA. picking up this car. It's every thing he said it was and then some. Straightest one I've seen.
I installed a New Timing Belt and Tensioner, changed Oil and All Filters, had to change one Wheel Bearing and a few little minor odds and ends.
Drove car 1200 mi. straight thru home, didn't burn any Oil and averaged 47 mpg for the trip.
Definetly worth the trip from Seattle. Needs a few little things but Body, Interior, Glass, Headliner, Dash, ENGINE ect. are excellent.
BTW, It's for sale!

I saw that.
