I just got a 40 dollar check in the mail from the provincial government for their diesel fuel tax rebate program. schweet!

I got mine in June. Our provincial government cut the tax by 5 cents/ litre on gasoline a while back but not on diesel. When you renew your yearly registration (non commercial vehicles only) you get a $40 rebate in approximately one month. You don't even have to apply for it. I guess this is supposed to even it up for us diesel folks. Hard to say if it really does or not but I'm not complaining.

Damn I didn't get any either :( Although the vehicle was just re-registered 1/2 a month ago... Here's hoping

Revenue Canada will likly consider it taxable income for reasons of thier own,... :?

Yeah, its just a N-B thing, I recieved mine a couple months ago, spent it on a transmission, it was really good timming.

I have accidently poured some into the Jetta on a few occassions. Darned gas cans all look the same.  :wink:

I had an accident like that in a local power outage when I required fuel :)  That's my story.
