Does anyone know the options list and specs for a jetta/golf GTD. Also did they actually make a jetta GTD? i have a badge that is a true VW part with part number on it and the VAG emblem but i never heard anything about a Jetta GTD. Can any of our friends overseas clarify this?
Thanks
Thomas

I've never seen a jetta badged as a GTD. However my Grandfather has a MK2 Jetta, a special edition called a "pacific". It had big bumpers, GTi spec arches, 16v splitter, wierd green and blue seats, metallic paint, a rev counter and oddly enough the intercooled SB engine, identical to my GTD.
I'm in Ireland and the jetta pacific edition was quite a popular choice at the time.

weird, ya cause tmtuning has the Jetta GTD badge (still not sure if it is truely a real one) and it has, like i said, a part number and all the makings of a true VW part.
I just dont want to be posing with the badge on my car but it might as well be a GTD now that its intercooled, has the azz nozles and other goodies to make it just as powerful. I just also wanted to know which other options it came with.

I did a bit of research, there was indeed a Jetta GTD, although I'm not sure what countries it was available in, prob just mainland europe. I found a picture of a badge:

So you may now badge your Jetta! I was the same with badges on my GTD, I got GTi rubbing strips with the GTi logo on them, they had to go, so I just put blanks instead.

chances are i probably have way more options then what a stock GTD had hahaha. I love my car, great mileage, great power, reliable as hell, and pretty damn good looking for a sedan
