Title: a couple questions bottom end bearings and seals

How do you remove the IM shaft bearings on the AAZ?
Also,
I think i broke the retainer that holds the seal for the crank shaft on the AAZ block. The 1.6TD MF one bolts up to it and has the same seal as in my seal replacement kit.
Can i use the 1.6td one?
also. which direction does it go in/out?

Did you break the front or rear seal carrier?

I think Andrew has a DIY in the FAQ on the IM bearings.
