i used to have an 84 coupe that i turbo'd. it was a ton of fun, but i was deep in debt and i had to sell it. :'( i missed it, especially when i saw what the new owners were doing to it. recently i swapped in a 16v motor along with a 2H transmission and had plans to swap in a TD into another car shortly. well i got tired of the 16v quickly and once i had the chance i pulled the sucker out and installed another diesel. its the 11mm block, originally NA but has a full factory TD setup.
im so excited to be back! and now, some pics

you see my other jetta coupe in the backround. inarisilver 1980 coupe. it will get a rebuilt JH motor along with the 2H transmission. 16v is going into a rabbit and will get a nice (16G) snail on it.
this is my daily so its gotta have the best mpg, the looks are less important to me, though i do think shes rather sexy :-*

Looks pretty clean from what i can see! Great work! Im lovin the stance on that thing.

so far everythings been going good. Im in the process of getting all the extra gauges installed that i need, including egt, boost and oil temp. fun fun funnnnnn
still trying to get the fuel filler neck to accept the diesel fillers, what a pain

so is it running yet at least? I told this that it was gonna go in a diesel, and it grinned from side to side. ;D
