I bought a able shifter ass'y for my tdi conversion project but there is no shifter knob on top. I just has the shifter rod looking up with an indented side. My manuals do not show this very well and was wondering if my 1999 (A3) shifter knob will transfer over to my (A4)cable shifter rod?
