As you know my mk1 is that 2-seater van, now I want to re-register the car and I put the seats back, but given the age I don't find a golf mk1 that I can give her so I have to know what the most current VW I can help. Where are you located? This might help because seats are expensive to ship. Maybe you could find something close and get the car through inspection? I don't know what maybe an old fiat or some other small hatchback?

Any golf will fit,  but 2 door has square corner, 4 door has curved corner...
