Title: 1.9tdi aaz swap in my mk2 Jetta have some questions
Post by: Hiacoboni on April 21, 2017, 10:04:46 am
I'm doing a swap this weekend from my 1.6 na to a 1.9 tdi aaz and I was wondering if my manual trans would bolt up to the engine no problem or would I need any alignment tools. Also if I would need anything special for the cv joints etc... also if anyone has any tips or advice form my install.

The AAZ is not a TDI engine.  It is an IDI turbo-diesel.  Because of that, this the wrong forum for your post.

Yes, it will bolt to the mk2 trans.  You'll need to use the mk2 clutch assembly.
