Title: problems with start after rebuild pump - AAZ
Post by: berton7 on May 19, 2015, 02:41:59 am
Hello

I need some help from you diesel experts.
My pump was leaking on LDA. I open it and changed main seals.
But I mess up something when putting back together.
Only thing that has 2 options was cam plate(number 3 on picture)
When I start the engine went directly to max RPM!?!?!
Any suggestions what I did wrong?

I put pump back down and and turn the cam plate (number 3 on picture). Now I don't have enough pressure to let the air from pipes. Fuel don't came out from the pipes.

SORRY, cant load picture - try google ''Distributor head'' you will see Distributor head apart with numbers...

SO I must give it one more shot.
Last one with your help I hope ;)

Thanks! Berton

Sounds like you need to adjust the max fuel screw a bit. Turn it in some until you are getting fuel.
