Post by: Giles@PerformanceDiesel on March 27, 2007, 11:00:55 pm
Hi everybody

6 months now.

I am starting my own Diesel Fuel Injection shop!!!!!

It is called

PERFORMANCE DIESEL INJECTION LTD,.
187 STEELCASE ROAD WEST UNIT 16,
MARKHAM, ON.,
L3R 2R9
905-940-2266

We will be opening officially next week i just gave my two weeks
notice in yesterday.

i will be leaving some time next week.

please do not send any pumps to the old address, if u do i cannot
be responsible for what happens to the pumps.

i will be offering the same kick ass performance pumps and
hopefully even more options in the near future.

hope everyone is well and look forward to seeing and talking to more

Congratulations on your new business venture.

It's always better, and more satisfying, to be

  self-employed.

  Good luck!

Congratulations on your big move!

I hope the transition goes smoothly, and I can't emphasize enough how nice it is to be able to choose which 7 days a week to work :?

Congratulations.
Will there be any changes on how pumps are shipped to you, besides address of course?
Any changes in the price structure?
Care to elaborate on some of the new options you will be offering?
How long do you expect the delay from transition to be before you are up and running in your new shop?
I just sent you a e-mail yesterday about sending up my pump.  Glad I havent shipped it yet.

Thanks, Jim

Congrats, that's awesome news.

When you have time I'd still like a quote for a preformance pump and injector rebuild.

Mine is there now. I got a call at 730 am ( I missed it ). I sent a letter with it explaining what I was doing with it...except what he wanted to know.. Boost level and intercooled or not. Real nice to talk to him.

For the US people...they charged him a $25 customs fee. Just remember that when you send it.

THANKS GILES!!

i must honestly say... that i would revoke their Canadian citizenship if i could do so.  i think if you mark it as a commercial sample, there is no fee... then again... a dirty old pump isn't such a great commercial sample lol

I really don't know. The engine/pump are from a Passat. Here are detail pics, can anyone tell me what it does? (NOTE: Pump now in stealth semigloss black)

what kind of paint did you use???  any recommendations from anyone??? regular brake cleaner or degreaser as initial prep?
Title: Great News
Post by: stewardc on May 06, 2007, 08:09:00 am
Brake cleaner is the initial prep, then a coat of Rust Check primer and a final coat of DupliColor Engine Enamel in the color of your choice.

I have a question on pump plunger sizes.
I found a post on here on how to decifer the #'s on the side of the pump and it works on one of my pumps (it's an 8mm) but the second pump has a differant set of #'s and the coversion doesnt work.
Ya know what. No reply needed. I'll get the #'s tonight when I get home and post.
I'm about ready to send off a pump I just want to make sure I'm sending the best one I have as to plunger size.

On the way!  Will you shoot me a e-mail when it gets there?  I gambled and did not insure it as I thought 500 insurance would look funny on a part return valued at 45.00.
Thanks, Jim
