Do these have the oil cooling holes in the crown of the piston like the KS pistons do?
-
No they don't and as far as I'm aware, KS TDI pistons aren't available on our side of the pond.
-
I believe it is only the PD150 pistons that have the oil cooling ducts, not so?
Do you have the 1.6TD in +0.50mm?
-
yep it's PD 150's - and yes I do have the 1.6TD in .5mm

Mike, a quick question, when I bought some Nural brand pistons for my TD, they came with Goetze rings. Do you know if these pistons have the Goetze rings as well?
-
Nural, Goetze and FM, Glyco are all under the same umbrella - so --- yes for all practical purcposes they do.
;)
It's all European made stuff, not junk knock offs.
-
does any one know if nural makes pistons for the 1.6 idi ?
thanks guys :)

Mike,
Do you or anyone else that you know of have these in standard and or one size over?
I would be putting in an AHU motor but I think these ALH pistons fit - am I not correct?
Thanks

Yes they should, you'll certainly want to check side clearance to be sure about fitment. Right now I have a set of the std HD oil cooled dome pistons I'd let go of for 450 plus shipping (that's $75 off)- They were installed momentarily in a motor I decided not to continue with but are in new condition. I also have the new hd ones for 550 + shipping in + .05
Let me know, be glad to get a set coming your way.
