Damn, that might be larger than my collection.
Nice to find the windshield wiper relays with the adjustable delay, and stick them in the old rabbits.
They all have 53S near the center post.

I see some plugs too. Is there a MK4 MAP sensor plug. Not sure what one looks like right now.
I want to put a VNT-15 on my AHU rabbit project and need to repin to the plug to the later MAP sensor.

The MK2 light switch is a keeper. They seem to go bad often.

If the gear catches on the edge, it can come off and fall in the tranny.

Murphy's law says.....    It falls in.  So go slow and put a bright light on the work area.  There is nothing worse than not being able to see the problem and then doing what you didn't care to do.

  That does sound good.
Belt is riding down the center of the sprocket.

On the speedometer removal:
There is a metal lip, kind of a bucket, that slides into the trany
you might have to get a little screwdriver under it, between it and the trany,
from the firewall side.

And be real careful pulling it out.
If the gear catches on the edge, it can come off and fall in the trany.

I do hope the transmission might be a later one but we will fond out soon enough. I managed to get the clutch unstuck and rock the car in gear from where she sits...so far so good. What I couldnt do though is pull the speedo cable out of the housing to check fluid level...its a different style than I've seen with a rubber grommet in the housing instead of a gasket.

Here's a short video of the first start after quite a bit of cranking.

On a down note, the front driver's pinch seam folded in a good bit when I was jacking it. Not particularly fantastic.

Otherwise I think she will drive fine...even the alternator cleaned up.

Being early like that, it probably does have the GC 4-speed.
Because the 1.5 ran at a higher RPM due to the shorter stroke.
A GP or GL is way better on the highway.

Here is a floor piece on ebay, not mine or anyone i know:

The GC 4speeds are pretty limiting at HWY speeds but a GP works pretty well and has a final ratio similar to a FF 5 speed without feeling like your constantly shifting.
