Title: Working on the gauge cluster
Post by: ORCoaster on October 02, 2021, 11:34:24 pm
I can't seem to remember what was suggested to use to glue the two pieces of thin plastic together to keep the thin copper strips on that film behind the gauge cluster.  I have a couple of places where the copper strips could touch one another now that they aren't secure between the two pieces of film.

Any suggested type of adhesive to use?  I thought about simple contact cement but can't see how I would control the application and not ruin the thin copper strips.

Any help on this would be helpful.  I want to be sure I am not wasting my time converting the gas tach to a diesel one and have something go snap when I am driving on our pot hole-laden roads in the city here.
