Title: 24 gallon fuel tank into mk2 golf
Post by: jhax on March 08, 2015, 11:31:03 am
I know the 18 gallon tanks strap right on up in there but what about the 24 galloners in the b4v wagons?

What is this 18 gallon tank from? If it's the B4, I would doubt the B4V tank will work since they can't be swapped on the Passats.

Why would you want this? You'll burn through bearings and rear suspension components very quickly I would imagine. Plus all that extra weight won't be doing you any favours.

Yeah I was thinking from the B4v wagons, didnt even give the extra weight and ware.

Thanks Sir

Do you guys seriously think 60 or 80 extra pounds in the back of a Mk2 golf is going to wear out the suspension and wheel bearings? Better not carry your tool box either I guess.
