i ENVY you people who are compact enough to drive caddys..

too bad they never made extended cab caddys with LONG gti doors, instead of short doors.

This one looks mighty clean.

They are pretty easy to build.

im not down with cutting up a 2dr rabbit tho..

a caddy or 4 door i would chop up no problem, but i have a soft spot for 2dr cars.. there the only ones i fit in comfortably.

It's easy to rationalize when the back is crushed.
But maybe that is why we went with the Cabriolet front half.

how is that possible? cabby lacks LOTS of important parts..

doors with full frames, the long roof, yadda yadda..

Keeps you from bumping your big head.
Convertible top still clamps right to the windshield frame, and has window seals, plus you can take it off when not needed.

the more i look at LONG caddys, the more i think that they are way more than long enough in stock form..

your extendo-caddy is cool, but its just too damn long for my tastes.. the bed needs bobbed or something.

its just too long with it all stretched out like that..

still a way cool project, and it looks FACTORY.. i like that..
